A Musician in the "Smoke"

When I met Chrystelle I had just moved to the "Smoke" and was simply aiming to survive as a musician in the city.  I didn't have a clue what I wanted to achieve - I didn't even see myself as a commodity with much value in London.  I was caught up in the rat race, living day to day - juggling a mortgage, poorly paid gigs and a daunting industry.  My entire life was reactive.  I desperately needed some direction, self confidence and to be in control.

Chrystelle first of all guided me to decide which areas of my life were important and which weren't. This enabled me to stop acting impulsively on everyone else's demands and gradually focus on my highest good. This took a long time and was a two-fold process.  We discussed time management, financial planning, marketing/presentation and saying "no".  Whilst at the same time, investigating what was within me that was holding me back and keeping from realising my potential.

I've known Chrystelle for over a year now and even though we've come to the end of our "formal" mentoring sessions her advice and guidance has helped me continue to empower myself to focus on my ultimate dreams, develop both my work and my personal life and find much more peace and happiness in my life generally. I am proactive with my work, because I can break down seemingly mammoth tasks but most of all - I know where I'm going and am not afraid of the journey.

Thank you Chrystelle!
